I recently purchased a box of Conquest Norman Infantry and quickly got some assembled. I thought you might like a quick look at them seeing as this product is not all that old. I have assembled 4 of the non-command figures and for comparison purposes here they are next to some of my Gripping Beast Plastics.
As you can see I also acquired a box of Conquest Norman Knights and you get a rocking casualty figure. It is a one piece figure that only requires basing and painting. The box's do come with round and tear drop shield options and extra complete swords to leave near the casualty. It even has a Plastic flag option as well.
The base the feet are connected to are a little chunkier (taller) than the Gripping Beast molded on bases so they require a lot more base filling to raise the level to smoothly transition the figure to your ground level on a base. Alternatively perhaps cutting these off carefully under the feet and gluing them straight on a base could save a bit of filling work. There are plenty of two handed axes and arms that go with them in the box which is perfect for making Dane Axe armed figures for Saga. They just don't have that big droopy moustache thing happening. I really like Plastics over metal figures and would love to come across some Plastic Archers/Crossbowmen for Normans and, Saxons etc. Perhaps Gripping Beast and Conquest will go down that direction one day.
I also ventured into ebay to spend some Birthday cash and came across these very cool Saga measuring sticks and Fatigue counters from Arcane Scenery. So I had to get them.
Battle Flag. They look awesome! Yes...I had to get a set of those as well. Looking forward to getting them along with some Norman shield decals they make for Conquest Normans.
